Solar and Geomagnetic Effects on Upper Atmospheric Temperature
Statistical analysis shows that the temperature of the upper atmosphere (above 200 km) is strongly correlated with the solar 10.7 cm radiation, and that short term variations of temperature are strongly correlated with the geomagnetic index.
