Description
Summary:This study is devoted to the fixed-time tracking control problem for a class of uncertain strict-feedback non-linear system. An event-triggering mechanism is introduced into the channel from controller to actuator for decreasing the transmission frequency of the control signal. By means of fuzzy logic system to approximate the lumped unknown non-linearities, an event-triggered adaptive fuzzy control strategy is developed such that all signals of the resulting closed-loop system converge to the bounded domain within a fixed-time, while the tracking error will reach an adjustable residue set. A key feature of the proposed control strategy is that the fixed-time is independent of the initial states of the controlled system, which is different from some existing works on finite-time stability. Thus, the similar control performance can be attained for arbitrary bounded initial states in this work. Finally, the proposed fixed-time control scheme is verified via two simulation examples.
