Summary:Aesthetic considerations continue to become more relevant in dentistry, with patients becoming increasingly discerning about the results achieved from a cosmetic point of view. As such, the orthodontic/prosthodontic interface, in relation to managing congenitally absent maxillary lateral incisors, requires an integrated management approach, ensuring an aesthetic as well as a functional and stable outcome. This article explores the key orthodontic and prosthodontic approaches to achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
