Summary:Abstract The catalytic enantioselective Mannich reaction promoted by chiral bifunctional organocatalysts is described. The treatment of α-fluoro-β-keto esters with N-Boc aldimines under mild reaction conditions afforded the corresponding β-aminated α-fluoro-β-keto esters with excellent enantioselectivities (up to 98% ee).
