A Novel Method for the Synthesis of (1,8-Dioxo-2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9-octahydro-1H-xanthen-9-yl)acetic Acids on Solid Phase

Abstract We report the first solid-phase synthesis of (1,8- dioxo-2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9-octahydro-1H-xanthen-9-yl)acetic acids via a tandem Michael-Michael cyclization with resin-bound propiolic acid as Michael acceptor and cyclohexanediones.
