A technique for thermoelectric power measurements at high pressure in an octahedral multianvil press

We report a method for measuring the thermoelectric power of samples compressed in an octahedral multianvil pressure apparatus. Results are presented for the thermoelectric power at 300 K of doped Sb 1.5 Bi 0.5 Te 3 up to 9 GPa and Nd 0.45 Ce 2.55 Pt 3 Sb 4 up to 4.5 GPa.
