Summary: | The magnetic susceptibility of single-crystal La0.875Sr0.125MnO3 is measured under hydrostatic pressure up to 1 GPa. The Curie temperature TC and the temperatures TM and TOO of quantum phase transitions are determined. The pressure dependence of these transition temperatures is determined: dTC/dP=18 K/GPa, dTM/dP=16 K/GPa, and dTOO/dP=22 K/GPa. The phase diagram obtained demonstrates that an applied pressure can have the same effect on the phase transitions as a change in the degree of doping x. |
