Summary:A quasioptical free-space technique has been employed to measure the complex dielectric constant of ice at 35.3 and 94.5 GHz. At each of these frequencies, data were obtained from ice made from chemically pure deionized water and from ice made from tap water. The temperature of the ice was not controlled but was in the range −60 to 0°C.
