Summary: | The Fisher—Sykes attrition relations are applied to the diamond lattice using Monte Carlo estimates of the attrition at various walk lengths. It is found that these relations provide accurate estimates of the attrition for walks as small as 10 steps, in distinction to the exponential attrition law which is asymptotically valid only for much larger values of walk length. |
