The magnetically ordered state of (CH3)2NH2MnCl3

The compound (CH3)2NH2MnCl3 (DMMC) orders antiferromagnetically at TN=3.60 K. Nuclear magnetic resonance experiments have been performed to determine the magnetic ground state. The magnetic moments (4.0 μB) directed in the a* direction, form antiferromagnetic chains in the c direction. Susceptibilit...

Description
Summary:The compound (CH3)2NH2MnCl3 (DMMC) orders antiferromagnetically at TN=3.60 K. Nuclear magnetic resonance experiments have been performed to determine the magnetic ground state. The magnetic moments (4.0 μB) directed in the a* direction, form antiferromagnetic chains in the c direction. Susceptibility measurements in the ordered state are in accordance with the determined structure.
