Description
Summary:The a- and b-type rotational spectra of the protonated and deuterated nitrous oxide have been investigated in the millimeter and submillimeter frequency range. The molecular ions were produced in a magnetically confined glow discharge. The comparison between the accurate molecular constants deduced from the analysis of the spectra and different sets deduced from ab initio calculations gives structural information on the observed species: the experimental spectra belong to the O-protonated and -deuterated nitrous oxide.
