Relativistic effects in magnetohydrodynamic wave propagation

Relativistic modifications of Alfv́en waves are discussed for cases in which magnetic and relativistic terms are comparable. For atmospheric waves there are corrections to velocities, amplitudes, and polarizations. The mass current of the wave itself causes dispersion.
