Summary: | An optical model is proposed to describe the features of interaction of polarised laser light with plant leaves. It is shown that the epidermal layer of plant leaves has optical anisotropy that arises during their development. This anisotropy can serve as an important factor determining the peculiarities of interaction of polarised laser light with biomolecules, proteins and enzymes contained in plant leaf cells, which are characterised by isomerism of physical and chemical properties. The proposed model is verified experimentally. |
