Description
Summary:Two simplified techniques are developed for the use of non-photogrammetric specialists. In the first one a non-metric camera attached to a small mirror stereoscope is used for the stereoscopic recording of small objects. The three dimensions of the object could be obtained, using derived simple formulas to the accuracy of a fraction of a millimetre. In the second technique the third dimension of the recorded object is read directly on a stereogram of a pyramid that replaces the conventional floating mark. The new techniques proved to be very inexpensive and easy to operate by non-specialists. They also provide high accuracy for preservation, restoration and recording purposes.
