Equipment Note. An inexpensive system for remote monitoring of work heart rate

This note describes an inexpensive system for remotely monitoring heart rate and illustrates its use in a work physiology investigation of forest harvesting. The system is quickly set up, lightweight, self-contained and does not restrict a worker's movements.
