Reduction to normal form of a state equation in the presence of input derivatives
A generalized transformation is proposed for reducing to its equivalent normal form a state equation which contains terms of the input and its time derivatives. The suggested algorithm is valid also when the number of input derivatives exceeds the number state-variables.
