Summary: | In this paper, I present the petrographic signatures of the Tell 'Acharneh ceramic assemblage dating from the 3rd to the 1st millennia BCE. This full characterization of the Tell 'Acharneh petrofabric groups is intended to contribute new data to help create a wider understanding of the networks of interaction within the Orontes River watershed. Results indicate on the one hand, contrasting technological knowledge between the Early Bronze Age IV and Middle Bronze Ages, and on the other, transmission and continuity in ceramic production between the LBA to the IA II periods. |
