Summary:Ni(II) di(pentyl)dithiocarbamates of composition [Ni(Pe 2 dtc) 2 ], [NiX(Pe 2 dtc)(PPh 3 )] (X = Cl, Br, I, NCS), [Ni(NCS)(Pe 2 dtc)(PBut 3 )], [Ni(Pe 2 dtc)(PPh 3 ) 2 ]ClO 4 and [Ni(Pe 2 dtc)(PPh 3 ) 2 ]PF 6 (Pe 2 dtc = di(pentyl)dithio-carbamate, PPh 3 = triphenylphosphine, PBut 3 = tributylphosphine) have been synthesized. The complexes have been characterized by the usual methods. X-ray structure analyses confirmed the nature of [NiI(Pe 2 dtc)(PPh 3 )] and [Ni(Pe 2 dtc)(PPh 3 ) 2 ]ClO 4 complexes.
