Description
Summary:A student-designed life history interview project on women's changing roles and expectations provided a powerful learning experience linking textbook material on gender bias and cohort effects to the lives of actual women. Psychology of Women students invited 7 grandmothers to talk about their lives, perceptions of changing roles, and expectations for their daughters and granddaughters. In this article, I discuss and evaluate student responses to the activity.
