Summary: | This quarter’s column starts with two conference reports from ER&L 2023, one on a library’s experience leveraging Third Iron products to increase discovery of eResources and enhance user experience and the other on retention decisions that include an analysis of access from a variety of sources in order to identify irregularities that may impact use. Next is a summary of a transformative agreement table talk from the 2023 Acquisitions Institute that included other models in early stages, such as subscribe to open (S2O). Lastly are three reports from NASIG 2023, the first of which is about the complexities of managing boundwith items, with an overview, several key resources, and solutions for the Alma environment. There is also a conference report on identifying and tracking post-cancelation (perpetual) access and a summary of the licensing resources and data privacy workshop that includes references to several excellent resources on these topics. |
