Summary:A large number of studies have already been focused on urban sports. Two kinds of practices have been analyzed: public space and skate parks. However, DIY spots were rarely in the midst of researchers' preoccupations. In this article, the author explains why building or modifying yourself to your practice area can be understood as a sign of resistance to the sportification of urban sports. The data used for analyzing are qualitative. Several interviews have been done as well as some participant observations.
