Summary: | This research addressed the problem of inadequate library research skills among senior students in an undergraduate capstone course in business strategy-a course that requires of students specialized library skills to complete an in-depth analysis of a Fortune 500 company and its industry. A library instruction session tailored specifically for business strategy students was conducted. Surveys were administered before and after the instruction session to assess student library-use anxiety, ability to use library resources, and satisfaction with library instruction. The results indicated that the business-oriented library instruction had beneficial effects. Recommendations for further improving students' performance are offered. |
