Summary:The Gnaphosidae is one of the large spider families, containing worldwide 1955 species in 114 genera (Platnick 2006). Turkish gnaphosids are still not well known: 73 species in 16 genera have been recorded so far (Topcu et al. 2005). We can add here records of four species new to Turkey, and these include the genera Callilepis and Cryptodrassus which were not previously known from Turkey.
