Some philosophies and methodologies for a knowledge-based standardization in fracture at high temperature

The concept is proposed for a knowledge-based standardization in fracture at high temperature. Examples are presented of the high temperature creep growth and fracture life, and the testing methodology of hard brittle materials with notch is discussed.
