Essential oil composition of Vitex negundo L. flowers
The hydrodistilled essential oil of the flowers of Vitex negundo was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Forty-five components making up 74.8% of the oil were identified. The major compounds were sabinene (20.3%), beta-caryophyllene (14.1%) and globulol (19.2%).
