A Mild and Efficient Method of Synthesis of a Series of New Multi-dentate Ligands

A series of esters and amides of diethylenetriamine-penta-acetic acid have been synthesized from diethylene triamine penta acetic acid (DTPA) with an efficient and mild synthesis method. All these compounds obtained were characterized by Fab-MS, 1 H NMR, IR, and elemental analysis.
