Description
Summary:Spectrophotometric observations of ο Ceti (Mira) were obtained on twelve nights just before, during, and just after the 1969 maximum. The spectrum of ο Ceti was found to undergo major changes during the period of the observations. The equivalent widths of the TiO band at 4960 Å Hγ and Hδ emission lines of hydrogen were found to be highly variable. The time variations of these features do not seem to be strongly correlated with the visual light curve.
