HAMUY'S BLUE VARIABLE STAR IN ORION

A 14th-magnitude blue variable star in Orion, serendipitously discovered by M. Hamuy, is shown to be a new member of the class of nova-like (UX UMa-type) variables on the basis of spectroscopic and high-speed photometric observations.
