V482 CYGNI: AN R CORONAE BOREALIS STAR IN A QUADRUPLE SYSTEM

The R CrB star V482 Cyg is shown to be a member of a quadruple star system, possibly the brightest member of a cluster, at a distance of 1.7 kpc, with a circumstellar shell at a temperature of 800 K. The absolute magnitude ofthe variable is derived to be Mv = —2.8.
