Summary:This study evaluated the frequency of and potential risk factors for arthralgias and/or myalgias associated with quinupristin-dalfopristin administration. Of 32 patients who received quinupristin-dalfopristin treatment, at least 15 (47%) developed arthralgias and/or myalgias. Clinicians should be aware of these adverse events associated with quinupristin-dalfopristin, which may occur more frequently than has been previously reported.
