Photocatalytic activity of La–N-codoped NaTaO 3 for H 2 evolution from water under visible-light irradiation
A La–N-codoped NaTaO 3 photocatalyst was synthesized by the solid-state reaction and thermal ammonolysis method. The photocatalytic reactions showed that La–N-codoped NaTaO 3 has high activity of H 2 evolution (7.0 µmol h −1 ) and long time stability under visible-light irradiation (λ > 420 nm)....

Summary: | A La–N-codoped NaTaO

photocatalyst was synthesized by the solid-state reaction and thermal ammonolysis method. The photocatalytic reactions showed that La–N-codoped NaTaO

evolution (7.0 µmol h

) and long time stability under visible-light irradiation (λ > 420 nm). DFT calculations suggested that the visible-light absorption of La–N-codoped NaTaO
3
originated from the transition of electrons from the impurity states to the bottom of the conduction band. |
