Description
Summary:The paper describes the uses of radio galaxies and quasars in cosmological studies due to their high radio and/or optical luminosity. These include measurements of the distributions of radio galaxies and quasars in time, their use as probes of intervening matter through the study of quasar absorption lines and gravitational lensing, and their possible use for determination of cosmological parameters. The original expectation of using these objects to determine H subzero and q subzero may be fulfilled. (I.S.)
