Summary: | The s-wave on-shell Jost solution for the Manning-Rosen potential is constructed via the ordinary differential equation approach to the problem. The corresponding off-shell Jost function is calculated by using the integral representation of the off-shell Jost function in a single channel scattering. The half off-shell T- matrix is obtained from the knowledge of the off-shell Jost function. Our constructed expressions for the Jost functions are applied to compute T-matrix, quasi-elastic phase shifts and the scattering phase shifts for the nuclear systems. |
