Summary:The possibility of realization of a photon-axion and axion-photon conversion processes in transparent dielectric media within the visible frequency region is analyzed. Materials contain paramagnetic ions with large magnetic moment: Tb3+, Er3+, etc. Therefore an additional strong magnetic field is present in the region of the paramagnetic ion. The reinforced field provides increased probability of the conversion processes. In order to ensure the synchronism condition it is supposed to use laser radiation whose frequency coincides with the frequency of unitary polaritons with a refractive index equals to one. Schemes akin the known scheme "Light Shining through a Wall" can be used to observe the photon-axion conversion process. The estimation of efficiency of conversion processes using real sources of laser radiation and the specific dielectric media with paramagnetic ions is given.
