Summary: | For the channel estimation in offset QAM/OFDM (OQAM/OFDM) system, interference cancellation method (ICM) is a good choice because of its great channel estimation accuracy. However, the high overhead of this method is inevitable. In this paper, we proposed an improved ICM, which is introduced the idea of auxiliary pilot (AP) in the scattered pilots channel estimation method. We utilize the APs to cancel the interference caused by the data adjacent to pilot, which can reduce the overhead of system significantly. According to the simulation result, the proposed ICM can obtain a similar channel estimation performance with the traditional ICM with a lower pilot overhead. Thus, the proposed ICM is a more practical option for OQAM/OFDM system. |
