Summary:The high performance of power battery pack is used in the field of electric vehicles widely. With the continuous improvement of the cruising range, the energy imbalance of the power battery has become a limiting factor. This paper analyses and introduces the power battery equalization circuit. According to different circuit topologies, they are divided into two categories: Energy dissipative and non-energy dissipative. We Focused on the analysis of the working principle, advantages and disadvantages of the non-capacity dissipative equalization structure. Finally, this work summarizes the application and development direction of the power battery equalization control in recent years.
