Description
Summary:Current study highly motivated to use the solid wastes (biomass and plastic wastes) for clean energy production by using the thermo-chemical conversion process such as pyrolysis. The products of the pyrolysis are bio-oil, charcoal and pyro-gases. This technique can be provided the promising option on the clean energy production as well as reduction of the carbon level and greenhouse gases from the environment and it also promotes the Savach Bharat Abhiyan. The conventional pyrolysis process has some disadvantage such as produced bio-oil has some impurities such as water content, less heating value, high viscosity becausetar content and high ash content. All these properties of the bio-oil fuel can’t be upgraded by using the conventional pyrolysis process but these impurities can be removed by using the co-pyrolysis technique. Co-pyrolysis technique can be enhanced the fuel quality by upgrading the fuel such as heating value, reduction of tar content and ash contents and this study also covers the upgradation and improvement of the fuel quality.
