Summary:In this paper, the problems of creating parts by selective laser melting from AISI 321 powder material are considered. Samples were made from powder material with a granulometric composition of 10-63 microns at a selective laser melting plant. Microslips were made to study the physical and mechanical properties. The structure of the samples and their porosity were evaluated using optical microscopy. The change of physical and mechanical properties depending on the change in the scanning speed is investigated. The connection between the modes of selective laser melting and the physical and mechanical properties of the resulting products has been established.
