Summary: | In this research, the parameters and reliability of the Alpha Power Rayleigh distribution were estimated by each of the moments method, the modification moment method, the percentile method and the maximum likelihood estimation method. The simulation technique was used to generate the data required for estimation and for different sample sizes and its replicate to 1000. The mean square error criterion was used to compare the obtained results. In general, the results of the estimators show that maximum likelihood estimation method is the best in estimating each of the parameters and the reliability function. |
