Mathematical modeling of complex heat transfer in the context of the endovenous laser ablation
An initial-boundary value problem for quasi-linear model of complex heat exchange (where the conductive and radiative contributions are simultaneously taken into account), describing the mechanism of endovenous laser ablation, is studied. The existence and uniqueness of a solution is proved. An iter...

Summary: | An initial-boundary value problem for quasi-linear model of complex heat exchange (where the conductive and radiative contributions are simultaneously taken into account), describing the mechanism of endovenous laser ablation, is studied. The existence and uniqueness of a solution is proved. An iterative procedure to find a solution is constructed and its convergence is established. The efficiency of the iterative procedure is illustrated by conducted numerical simulations. |
