Summary: | The study of destruction of samples with crack-type macro defects in shockwave microsecond duration range mode with amplitude up to 1 GPa was carried out using the magnetic pulse method of pressure pulse creation. The result analysis held on the basis of computer modeling of stressed condition and thermodynamic approach. The relation between the surface fracture energy and the material parameter, such as the energy accumulation time required for destruction, was revealed. |
