Description
Summary:This paper examines factors affecting river pollution from boat parking activities and the community perception of these factors. Uses a quantitative methodology, utilizes questionnaires from people active in the Silugonggo River, using technical factor analysis to find factors that influence river pollution, followed by perception analysis techniques to analyze the community’s social view of river pollution from boat parking. The results showed that the number of a boat parked, and the length of parking were factors affecting river pollution. The results of community perceptions also confirm these results, by giving a negative view of social environmental conditions on these two factors.
