The research method uses case studies with data collection techniques, namely direct measurements, following FAD installation activities on the seabed, following fishing operations, and interviewing fishermen. The results showed that technically the traditional FAD construction consisted of a FAD body consisting of 100 sticks of forest wood tied using a rope made of polyethylene and 50 stalks of coconut leaf attractor.
