Summary:The interplay among business owners and their environment shapes an entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports a successful business. This study proposes to identify essential entrepreneurial ecosystem elements and to analyze the dependency between entrepreneurial ecosystems and productive entrepreneurship in different categories of regions. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach was imitated to observe scientific articles that related to research questions. Primarily, the articles have been published with an h-index to the obey robustness method that was sourced from Scopus, Google Scholar, Emerald, and ProQuest. Various sources have been used to avoid bias. The results show that the most essential elements of entrepreneurial ecosystems are culture, finance, and networks. Then, this study confirmed that entrepreneurial ecosystems influenced productive entrepreneurship directly and indirectly. The mediation variables are entrepreneurial attitudes and innovations. Given the findings, achieving productive entrepreneurship can strengthen entrepreneurial ecosystems through entrepreneurial culture, convenient access to finance, and building networking. Moreover, supporting systems to implement entrepreneurial attitudes and innovations are needed for intercession toward productive entrepreneurship.
