Summary: | Thermal decomposition of complex compounds of cobalt ataconate phenanthroline and cobalt itaconate dipyridine in order to obtain nanoparticles. The size and shape of the particles of the substance was studied by atomic force microscopy with using a PHYWE Compact scanning probe microscope. The presence of functional groups, as well as the qualitative presence of nanoscale cobalt particles were investigated by IR spectroscopy. As a result of research, it was revealed that as a result thermal decomposition of complex cobalt compounds it is possible to obtain nanosized powder of cobalt oxide. It was found that the particle diameter of the obtained powder does not exceed 15 nm, and the particle size along the Z axis does not exceed 24 nm. |
