Description
Summary:Plots were 3 rows (1st test) or 5 rows (2nd test) wide and 50 ft long. Treatments were replicated 4 times in a randomized complete block design. The 1st test was treated on 29 Jul and the 2nd test on 12 Aug. Sprays were applied with a hand-held boom using 3 nozzles/row at the rate of 100 gal/acre with 100 psi. Treatments were evaluated at night with the aid of flashlights. All adult weevils observed on the foliage in the center row of each plot were counted.
