Summary: | Fuller rose beetle eggs (0-7 d old) oviposited between layers of wax paper, were placed in stainless steel cages (6 cm long by 18 mm diameter), immersed in test compounds, air dried for 30 min, and then held at 25°C and 85% RH for 30 DAT. To stimulate egg hatch, 24 h before mortality determination, the relative humidity was raised to saturation. For the Biphenyl test, eggs were placed in Petri dishes with Biphen-yl-impregnated papers of various sizes for 2 wk at 13°C, then held for 30 d as described above. |
