Summary:Experimental plots consisted of 2 rows 54 ft long, with 36 inches between rows, at 14-inch plant spacing. Each treatment consisted of 4 replicates in a randomized complete block design. ‘Globe’ variety cabbage was transplanted on June 15. Sprays were applied on June 30, July 11, 22, August 1, and 11 through a tractor-drawn 18-ft boom sprayer at 60 gal of spray per acre. Insects were counted by dissecting heads in the field on August 15. The crop acceptability rating was conducted August 22.
