Evolution of Inhomogeneous Cosmological Models
It is shown that an open Robertson–Walker (R–W) model can evolve from a variety of initial states. In fact there exist spherically symmetric inhomogeneous models which approach R–W ones as t → ∞, but whose density on an initial space-like surface is an arbitrary function of the radial variable....
