Summary: | TLD results from two methods of calculating CTDI, from a single slice dose profile and from multiple scan average dose, were compared for different slice thicknesses. Two types of TL materials, LiF:Mg,Cu,P and LiF:Mg,Ti, were employed in order to analyse the differences in energy response between the two phosphors. Results revealed the multiple scan average dose as the more practical and realistic method and confirmed the importance of performing appropriate energy response corrections. |
